Buttercup and Willow
Buttercup and Willow

Willow and Buttercup. Mini mares (~38 inches and ~34 inches, respectively), 5 years old. These owner-surrendered and very bonded cuties must go together. They are looking for a loving home prepared to do a little extra work, as Willow has a weak hind end due to neurological damage (vet records available). She is kind to handle, and likes people. Buttercup leads nicely and is working on picking up all four feet on command. Do you have a heart and a home for these sweeties? Fee: $650 for both

Vala
Vala

Grade mare, ~14.3 h. Rescued from auction. Cannot currently be handled, clearly has bad experiences in her past. Can you help Vala? Please contact us about sponsoring her at the farm while we continue to evaluate/gentle her.

Cammy
Cammy

Currently located in NY. 12 yr, 15.1h. This sweet, sensitive mare is a beautiful mover who adores ground work, joins up easily, and loves hand walking out on the trails. Cammy is not a riding candidate, but would be a fabulous companion horse, or a partner for unmounted Parelli games. She loves people and most other horses. Do you have room in your heart and your barn for this sweet girl? Adoption fee: $100.

1998 appendix quarter horse mare. This owner surrender is a retired polo pony, has DSLD, and requires sedation to have her back feet trimmed because of her condition. She can not be ridden and requires a lot of food to maintain her weight. She has a sweet temperament and is good with some (but not all) geldings. Fee $300

Chance

(Currently located in NY) Companion only 9 yr 16+ saddlebred/MFT mare This friendly love bug was rescued from auction as a filly and grew up at BBFER. She has extensive ground work and was well started under saddle, but her riding career was cut short by neurological issues. She can be spooky, especially in the cold weather, and thus requires a handler with some experience. Sweet and low-maintenance, she just needs a chance! Fee: $100
